To swim with the aim of being fit, the most efficient stroke is the crawl, or "freestyle" as is known in competitive swimming. Little energy is spent in practicing the crawl, and its constant and firm movements provide the right pace for aerobic session. Less time is spent sliding your front crawl stroke with the side and the breast stroke. In contrast to the butterfly stroke, the crawl does not require bursts of energy that can easily tire the swimmer.
The technique crawl
The crawl includes three basic elements: the kick, breathing and stroke. Through this exercise we want to teach to get aerobic benefits, so that you can improve your technique. With a few strokes for long, can you cover more distance with less energy wasted.
